The Challenge

How many times have you thought, “wow, I should turn that into a blog post!”?

It’s something that I’ve replayed in my mind a few times.

But what is the hardest part? Is it getting started? Or even just posting consistently?

Wait, would anyone even read this?

And that’s probably what ends it. At least for me.

It is worth doing

I watched this video from Little King Goods last night. In it, Ryan says that everyone of us is drawn to creativity. There’s this creativity that we were born with, that’s within us.

A bit later in the video he shares this: When you surround yourself with people who are better than you, you are going to be better. And that’s what I’ve learned. Do not give up. Do not give up. Do not give up.

Both of these concepts really resonated with me. It is worth putting work into your side project. It’s worth writing poetry, even if nobody reads it. Pushing at something, and going through it, that’s sometimes where something magical can happen.

And so I decided that I wanted to try a challenge to write again. My first challenge is to do 3 posts over the next 9 days. I’m also opening myself up to the wider community of thinkers and writers. I value your feedback, or the time that you take to read my writing.

Thank you. And; do not give up.
